The Vice President of Bank Pekao S.A., who oversees the Finance Division, was ranked among the 15 most influential women in the Polish financial industry by My Company Polska magazine
Dagmara Wojnar has more than 20 years of experience in the financial sector, including more than 10 years in bank financial management. She has worked for some of the largest banking institutions in Poland, executing significant transactions for the sector. From 2022 to 2024, as an Associate Partner at KPMG, she was responsible for advisory services to chief financial officers. From 2010 to 2022, she managed the Controlling/MIS area at Santander Bank Poland, where she implemented a number of significant financial management projects. She was a member of decision-making committees at the bank, as well as a member of supervisory boards.
Dagmara Wojnar is a graduate of banking at the Cracow University of Economics and a Multinational MBA at ESADE in Spain with qualifications as a chartered accountant and FCCA. She has completed a number of development programs at leading business universities (including INSEAD, London Business School).
She has been on the board of directors of Pekao Bank since last July and has been involved in various projects and initiatives beyond her duties as head of finance of a large institution.
It promotes the partnership of finance and business. In addition, she supports the “No Sugar” development program for women working at the bank. As part of it, she was one of the faces of the “Pink October” breast cancer prevention campaign program, and supported the #Movember campaign to raise awareness about cancer and men's mental health. She is a mentor in the LeadersIN program connecting aspiring women leaders with more experienced mentors.
