Marcin Zygmanowski - Bank Pekao S.A.

Vice President of the Bank’s Management Board, supervising the Technology and Operation Banking Division

For nearly 30 years, he has been professionally associated with Accenture, where he has held the role of Managing Director since 2005. From 2005 to 2013, he led the IT technology practice at Accenture in Poland. Between 2013 and 2015, he built the banking digital transformation practice in Poland, and since 2016, he became the leader of the global practice specializing in digital banking startups. 

From 2017 to 2019, he led the program that resulted in the creation of a new digital bank in France, overseeing until 2023 the banks evolution, maintenance and operational continuity. At the same time, he worked closely with leading banks in Poland, delivering projects in retail, corporate, and investment banking. 

He has led large, multi-year transformational programs for clients in Poland and around the world, transforming local, regional, and global organizations using both established and new technologies. He possesses extensive international experience, having worked on major projects for financial institutions in the USA, Canada, the UK, France, Spain, Germany, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Hungary, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Singapore. 

He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Electronics at the Warsaw University of Technology and completed postgraduate studies in IT at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. He has completed numerous international trainings and programs related to the management of complex programs, technology solution development, cybersecurity, cloud, blockchain, Gen AI, risk management.
