CEZARY STYPUŁKOWSKI
President of the Bank’s Management Board
Between 2010 and 2024 he served as the President of the Management Board of mBank S.A.
He is the vice-chairman of the Council of the Polish Bank Association (ZBP), while he also chairs ZBP’s Section of Large Banks. Since 2022, he has sat on Mastercard’s Advisory Board. In October 2024, Cezary Stypułkowski joined the Board of Directors at the Institute of International Finance (IIF) in Washington. IIF is the most important global association of the financial industry, with about 500 members from more than 60 countries. Since 2012, he has been the co-chairman of the Emerging Markets Advisory Council of the IIF.
Between 2006 and 2010, Cezary Stypułkowski worked for the investment bank J.P. Morgan in London, where in 2007 he was appointed as the managing director responsible for Central and Eastern Europe.
In 2003–2006, he served as the President of the Management Board of PZU Group, and in 1991–2003 he chaired the Management Board of Bank Handlowy S.A.
Cezary Stypułkowski was a member of the international advisory board at Deutsche Bank; a member of J.P. Morgan's European Advisory Board, as well as INSEAD's International Advisory Board and the Geneva Association.
He holds a PhD in law from the University of Warsaw. In the late 1980s, he studied at Columbia University Business School in New York as a grantee of the Fulbright Program.
Cezary Stypułkowski meets suitability requirements determined in art. 22aa of the Banking Law Act.
